Italy

Italy is well known for its high quality manufactured goods.

Italy was virtually untouched by the Reformation. Over 50 million Italian are affiliated with the Roman Catholic church, but most of these would be nominal Catholics. Catholicism ceased being the state religion in 1984. All religions have equal freedom before the law, but often not in practice. There are more Jehovah Witnesses than Evangelicals in the country.

Get involved – pray for...

Pray for the big cities: Rome, Milan, Naples, Turin and others. Also, pray for the small towns where the evangelical church encounters strong opposition.
