Evropi, with her husband Evangelos, has served in the evangelical church Volos since 1977. On Monday 9 January 2017, Evangelos was called home to glory.

Evangelos was brought up in a Greek Orthodox home. As a teenager he discovered a Bible, began reading and was converted. Having contact with a group of evangelical Christians, he was put in touch with EMF and studied at the School of Biblical Studies in Watford. He and Evropi then planted the church in Volos, where Evangelos pastored for as long as he had the strength. The couple continued their gospel witness in the town, setting up a bookstall on the seafront during the summer, seeking to evangelise tourists. Evropi is now in poor health but seeks to encourage others, often by phone.
