Andrea grew up in a Christian family and became a Christian himself when he was eighteen. Soon after he married Ruthi, the couple discovered and embraced reformed theology and started to have deeper questions about the Bible. Not being able to find those answers in the church they were part of, Andrea and Ruthi realized that there was a need for Italians to have access to theological training, to help them grow in the knowledge and love of God.

They moved to the UK, where Andrea was able to study at Edinburgh Theological Seminary, and then returned to Italy in September 2023.

Andrea is now involved in full-time ministry, working both for the local church and for Coram Deo, a Christian publishing house which is linked to the church in Mantua.

In the church he is involved mainly in teaching, discipleship and other practical tasks, while in the publishing house he helps with administration, checking of articles, and the organisation of training and conferences.

Ruthi is an artist. She has a small art business through which she reaches others with the beauty of the gospel; she also works for the Coram Deo publishing house.

Andrea and Ruthi have a daughter, Elena Vittoria, born in January 2024.
