In January 2022, we launched our Lighting the Darkness initiative (https://www.europeanmission.org/light), to help begin new gospel work across Europe, in particular:
- To support new gospel workers,
- To drive new initiatives,
- To reach new communities,
- To plant new churches
Within 5 years, we planned to take on at least 15 new gospel workers in some of the neediest places in Europe, including the Balkans and the Nordics.
Even though 2022 was a very hard year for many people, and the concerns of us all were focused on the terrible war in Ukraine, yet we saw the Lord answering prayer for new gospel work in Europe.
This short video gives a brief update on the progress made under the Lighting up the Darkness initiative, and introduces us to some of the 7 new workers (missionaries or missionary couples) we've begun to support, across 6 countries, including in the Nordics and Balkans.
