Michael was converted as a teenager. In 1973, he moved to the south of Italy to teach English. His ministry has been bi-vocational: teaching English and evangelising among students, in the community, and on radio.

Michael joined EMF in 1996, and is married to Mary. Recently retired, they continue to lead evangelistic Bible studies. Michael assists the church in San Lazzaro by preaching and leading a literature outreach. He is also working to get online hundreds of his Bible messages that went out on the radio over the years.
