After his conversion, Valentyn immediately began to take an active part in ministry and outreach. On his birthday in 2000, he fasted for 2 days and inquired of the Lord where he should be serving. In 4 days God answered, and Valentyn was invited to serve among the Hungarian people of Transcarpathia, though not only to Hungarians.

Since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine began in 2022, Valentyn and his wife Tetyana have found themselves reaching out to hundreds of displaced people. Valentyn is very often unwell and is physically weak, yet the couple provide humanitarian aid and speak of the gospel day in, day out. Their work is sacrificial and heroic.
