Viktor is the pastor of the evangelical 'Annunciation' church in the town of Kremenets in Ternopil region. He's married to Myroslava, and they have 4 children: Arsen (24), Myron (17), Ustym (14) and Stephania (11). Viktor also leads the fellowship of evangelical pastors in the Ternopil region (in which Volodymyr Kostyshyn participates).

For many years, the church has had an extensive ministry in supporting orphans in the region, with many people in the church adopting and fostering children, as well as giving transition support, as youngsters move out of orphanages into society.

Viktor and his fellow elders are also heavily involved in preparing a new generation of church ministers.

Since the start of the full-scale invasion, the church has served displaced people sacrificially, initially, opening up the church to support the many refugees fleeing from the east. And then, as the war continued, supporting people with humanitarian and social projects, working with the families of fallen soldiers, working with people with PTSD, etc.

They are also involved in the planting of new churches in the region.
