My name is Yevhen Yashchenko and I'm 37 years old. I'm married to Hanna, and we have a daughter, Emiliia who is 7 years old.

I work and serve as a pastor of the Bible and Life Church. I was ordained to the pastoral ministry on February 14, 2021.

22 years ago, I repented in this church at the age of 14, was baptized 1 year later, and served as a youth ministry leader for 13 years. My pastoral ministry fell at the time of Covid and Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

I am the only pastor in our church, so I am responsible for both spiritual work in the church - preaching, teaching, spiritual care, worship for locals and displaced people, bringing together a team of ministers, serving the military and their families. And I am also responsible for the administrative part in the church before the state.

The EMF funding will help me to cover all the needs of the church, and to remain in full-time pastoral ministry, serving and preaching the Gospel to the needy in times of war, at a time when there are not enough helpers and ministers, without being distracted by the search for extra income.
