Alex is the pastor of the reformed Baptist church in Nisporeni, in the west central region of Moldova. He is married to Nina, and they have three children, two boys named Theodore and Gabriel and a baby girl named Elena.
The church Alex is pastoring is in a town of about 9000 people. Most of the population are eastern orthodox, with only two evangelical churches. Even though the perception of the locals to evangelicals has changed for the better in the recent years, there is still a much-felt opposition to the gospel.
There is a great need for sound teaching in evangelical churches as well as a great need to proclaim the gospel with boldness.
