Flavius is pastor of the Iglesia Bíblica Bautista in Parla, a district of Madrid that lies to the south of the city. He is married to Deborah, the daughter of American missionaries in Spain, and together they have 3 young daughters.
The church is in a transitional stage, and Flavius believes that God has placed him there for this time. The church is in an area where there are few other churches holding to reformed doctrines, so he is seeking to build relationships and be a blessing to all, while also establishing biblical and reformed foundations for his own congregation. There is a high proportion of Latin Americans attending the church, which brings both blessing and challenge, and there is areal spiritual hardness among their Spanish neighbours.
His current responsibilities are to guide the church by establishing its vision and doctrine, to lead the elders’ group and the youth group, to teach a Bible study every Thursday, and to preach in regular Sunday services.
