Series
Europe Needs the Gospel
Description
Since the Reformation, the religious history of France has been very mixed: on the one hand, we have John Calvin (born and converted in France) and the Huguenots; on the other hand, the infamous St. Bartholomew's Day massacre (1572) and the French Revolution. But what about today? With Catholicism still influential, Islam steadily growing, and more and more people in France identifying as agnostics or atheists, how is evangelical Christianity doing? Join us to hear about the continuing challenges and the real encouragements.

The aims of the webinar are:

1)   To provide an informed and accurate picture of the current spiritual situation in France.

2)   To help churches and individual Christians pray for France with more understanding of both the challenges and the encouragements.

3)   To encourage a renewed commitment on the part of Christians in the U. K. to supporting faithful gospel work in one of our nearest neighbouring countries.
