EMF have crossed a threshold - 100 missionaries in 20 countries! With the latest new missionaries taken on with the blessing of the EMF trustees, the total number of current EMF missionaries has now passed the 100 landmark. One of the new missionaries, Viktorio Antonovski, is from North Macedonia, a Balkan nation – in line with our 'Lighting up the Darkness' initiative – and a country where we've not had missionaries before, taking the total number of 'EMF countries' to 20. All of this is exciting, and fills us with a sense of gratitude to the Lord for leading us to the right people at the right time, and for making it possible, through the commitment and generosity of his people, for us to support more gospel workers making disciples in more and more needy places across Europe. It was the end of September 2023. We had already asked our supporters many times to give to workers in Ukraine, but we went back to them with yet another request: could they help us raise £50,000 to support 12 evangelical churches and organisations doing really urgent work? It’s moving and deeply humbling to report that over £120,000 has been received since then. Thank you to everyone who has given so sacrificially! Your generosity has enabled us to commit our support to those 12 churches and organisations up to the end of March 2024, as well as to increase the level of help, and provide the Bibles and blankets they’ve requested. Here’s a bit more about how that money is being used.
It’s only fifteen minutes a week, but wouldn’t you love to have fifteen minutes a week to share the gospel on national television? For many years now, the Spanish channel TVE2 has allowed Evangelicals, Catholics, Muslims, and Jews to have a slot each Sunday. An EMF missionary in central Spain tells us about what it’s like to be a witness for Christ to a large TV audience.

'If the doctrine of predestination is true, and if God has already decided who's going to be saved and who's not, then why pray, why evangelise, why bother?' That's what a lot of Christians think. But the clear teaching of the Bible, a right understanding of 'reformed theology', and 2,000 years of church history give the lie to those common caricatures of Calvinism. Click on link to access video recording of this fascinating discussion with Garry Williams (London Seminary), Davy Ellison (Irish Baptist College) and EMF missionary José Moreno Berrocal.
We don't talk about them much. But let us introduce you to 'George and Florence, who work with EMF in France.

It had been over 30 years since such an event had taken place, and we prayed that the Lord would make this a special time of spiritual edification and sweet fellowship. He answered these prayers way beyond our expectations! Read on...
As we look on in horror at the events unfolding in Ukraine and weep with its citizens, hundreds of thousands of refugees are fleeing to neighbouring countries. Many pastors have chosen to stay at their posts despite the danger, to care for the traumatised and terrified people who remain. The situation is deteriorating rapidly so there is an urgent need for God’s people here and across the world to intercede. Click on link to find out more on how to pray for Ukraine.
