Ukrainian Refugees arrive in Italy

16/3/2022

Antonio de Noia, who pastors several churches in the Peschici area, on the Adriatic coast of Italy, tells us that Ukrainian refugees are now arriving there.

'Two coaches of women and children arrived in my home town of Peschici from Ukraine on 12th March. The local authority contacted me to see if I could help them with food distribution. Thank God, I was able to deliver to them various products, for example, 100 litres of milk, biscuits for children, biscuits for adults, rusks, jam, Nutella, coffee, sugar, tomato sauce, rice and legumes. Next week, I am hoping to distribute some New Testaments.'

Prayer Points

More and more of our workers across Europe are involved in the relief effort. For people who are already working extremely hard, this is extra pressure.

Please pray

  • Please pray that Antonio, his wife Anna, and all involved will be given added strength. This will be a marathon, not a sprint!
  • Pray for opportunities for Antonio and his church to share Gospel hope and the true Christian message
