Greece

The vast majority of Greeks are Orthodox Christians.

Greek evangelicals from an Orthodox background can be subject to discrimination, harassment and persecution, often suffering alienation from their families, and difficulties in their careers. As in the rest of Europe, there is a strong current of secularism. The Gospel reached Greece before any other European country, but today many Greeks have never heard a clear presentation of the Gospel, and there are fewer than one hundred evangelical churches scattered throughout the country.
