Dawid was brought up attending an evangelical church and was converted at a young age. Agnieszka heard the Gospel at Christian camp meeting as a child.
They studied together at EMF in 1999.
Dawid pastors a church in Zywiec, a town of 40,000 people in the south of the country. The church has grown under his ministry and takes every opportunity as a church to be involved in the community.
Dawid writes: ‘2016 has been full of additional preaching arrangements, mainly at camps and conferences. Usually, weather permitting, I try to be out on Friday and Saturday mornings, at the market with the Christian literature and Bibles. From November until January the main task is to distribute hundreds of calendars. This ministry is encouraging, although there are good and bad days; sometimes I have good conversations, but sometimes I have no conversations at all.
I am very much encouraged with my involvement in Legatio Publishing House. Legatio has published a commentary on Joshua by Ralph Davis; Spiritual Depression by Martyn Lloyd-Jones is another title. It is good to see a growing interest in Legatio’s books, but of course the market is still very small.’
One challenge is lack of space in the church building, which has reached full capacity. Early in 2017, the church decided to seek a new building.
