Dawid was brought up attending an evangelical church and was converted at a young age. Agnieszka heard the Gospel at Christian camp meeting as a child. They studied together at EMF in 1999.

Dawid pastors a church in Zywiec, a town of 40,000 people in the south of the country. The church has grown under his ministry and takes every opportunity as a church to be involved in the community. 

Dawid writes: ‘Usually, weather permitting, I try to be out on Friday and Saturday mornings, at the market with Christian literature and Bibles. From November until January the main task is to distribute hundreds of calendars. This ministry is encouraging, although there are good and bad days; sometimes I have good conversations, but sometimes I have no conversations at all'. 

Dawid is very much encouraged by his involvement in the Legatio Publishing House which seeks to translate into the Polish language, to publish and distribute, good Christian books.

One challenge that Dawid has faced has been the lack of space in the church building, which by 2017 had reached full capacity. The church embarked on the construction of a new building adjacent to their existing premises, and this was completed at the end of 2021.
