Eugen was born in Russia and brought up in Germany. God sovereignly and graciously saved him from a life that was heading at full steam towards eternal punishment when he was nearly 24 years old. He did his undergraduate theological studies at a Bible college in Germany from 2007-2010 and worked for over 9 years with Child Evangelism Fellowship, 7 of those years as local directors with his wife Claire in Co. Donegal. 

In August 2020 Eugen, Claire and their children moved to Roscommon to serve the Lord under the auspices of Grace Community Church which is part of the Calvary Mission church planting network in the west of Ireland. Eugen is continuing with his theological studies undertaking a Master of Divinity course.
