God sovereignly and graciously saved Eugen when he was nearly 24 years old and Claire came to know the Lord as her Saviour as a small child. Eugen did his undergraduate theological studies at a Bible college in Germany and worked with CEF in Germany and later together with Claire as local directors in County Donegal. 

Then for 3 years Eugen, Claire and their children, served the Lord in Roscommon in Grace Community Church (part of the Calvary Mission church planting network in West of Ireland), where Eugen was pastoral assistant.

In Autumn 2023 the family moved back to the area where they lived and served before. Their hearts' desire is to serve the Lord with the gifts he has given them in their home congregation and the wider area. This would include evangelism, discipleship and equipping local believers. They long to see the chruch of Christ established and built in those areas. 

Eugen is continuing with his theological studies undertaking a Master of Divinity course alongside ministry opportunities. Claire is helping out with some CEF work and has the privilege of teaching the Bible in quite a few schools throughout East County Donegal.
