Now retired, Tony and Barbara are still involved in the church in Carcassonne which they helped to plant, and which Tony used to pastor.
In 1988, Tony and Barbara, with four of their six children, moved to Carcassonne, a town of 45,000 inhabitants, in the south of France. Their aim was to help a church in Limoux and to plant a church in Carcassonne.
Over the years, the church plant in Carcassonne has grown slowly but surely. Tony and Barbara retired in 2010. The church has now called a younger pastor to lead the work. In recent years, the church has grown significantly and in 2016 it relocated to large new premises.
